Carolina Blue Cigars is a premium cigar company that produces a product with balance, consistency, and excellent flavor.
The company was founded in April 2016 in the Dominican Republic, with Tabacalera F. De La Cruz factory presenting Christopher Moore the opportunity to start his own cigar brand. After months of testing the product and overwhelming positive responses, the blend was born.
We are not the average cigar company that produces 50,000 cigars a week. Our cigars are handcrafted in small quantities with specificity, at a maximum of 5,000 sticks a week. We care about the product we produce and every stick is inspected for quality and appearance.
The Tabacalera F. De La Cruz factory, run by Master Blender Francisco De La Cruz, in Tambril, Santiago, Dominican Republic, formed an alliance with Carolina Blue Cigars and only produces our brand. This is a great achievement for the brand, to be guided by a blender who has such high credentials in the cigar industry.
Francisco De La Cruz has been running his factory since 1997 and has been in the business since he was 13 years old. His trade history dates back to helping La Flor Dominicana start its climb to being one of the top brands in the world. He was their master blender for over 20 years. Another cigar company, Romeo and Juliet, also benefited from his love for blending tobacco for over eight years. After that De La Cruz decided to leave the larger cigar companies to return to what he loved best.
We continue seeking ways to improve our blends by using the finest tobaccos that are aged and cured to the strictest specifications of our Master Blender.
Our goal is to create an amazing cigar experience for all levels of cigar enthusiasts while maintaining exemplary customer service. Pride, care, and strict attention to detail goes into each cigar we make. Our company’s foundation is deeply rooted in the legacy of our families’ subsistence tobacco farming in Eastern North Carolina. We matured from those indelible youthful experiences, and have incorporated the same pride and tradition from our tobacco fields to the Dominican Republic.
Carolina Blue Cigars are created to perfectly complement all of life’s simple moments. We are confident that our cigar will change the market from a taste standpoint. Our main objective is to deliver the Carolina Blue Cigar experience, for the cigar enthusiast who seeks more in a cigar.
